I have been using EasyScan for several years as I find it easier to use than HP Smart.  After moving my Macbook Pro to Sequoia (OS 15.0.1), I  noticed that EasyScan now saves my multi-page documents as individual files even when I  save them as a single document.  Is EasyScan still supported?  And if so, is there a fix for this issue?

 

(Also note that MacOS 15 Sequoia is not in the Operating system dropdown on this page)

(Also note that even though the site says that I have an HP Office Jet Pro 8710 printer, it does not appear on the Product Name dropdown on this page)

EasyScan has had some compatibility issues with newer macOS versions, which can lead to problems like the one you're experiencing with multi-page documents being saved as individual files. Here are a few steps you can try to address the issue:

 

Check for Updates: Make sure you have the latest version of EasyScan installed. Sometimes, updates fix bugs and improve compatibility with newer operating systems.

 

Adjust Settings: Look for any settings in EasyScan related to file saving or multi-page documents. Sometimes there’s an option to save as a single file versus multiple files.

 

Reinstall EasyScan: Uninstall EasyScan and then reinstall it. This can sometimes resolve issues that arise from corrupted files or settings.

 

Try an Alternative: If the issue persists, you might consider using another scanning app that is compatible with your printer and macOS, such as HP smart app, Image Capture or VueScan.

I just updated Sequioa to 15.1.1

Now HP Easy Start recognized the Printer and installed fine. 
I downloaded easy Start here:

Seems to be the most current Version
