Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

The previous 15-year-old HP Scanner/Printer I had was able to separate scanned pictures, making the scanning of many pictures in a session quicker and more productive. This new ENVY 6455 seemingly does not do this, making it useless to me. I don't have the time to dilly around with each picture one-at-a-time! Unfortunately, it was the only model I could purchase locally as all of the box stores had none to choose from.  So far I've been extremely disappointed with this purchase (I've always purchased HP computers/printers) and am considering taking it back to the store unless someone can come up with a solution.

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-envy-pro-6400-all-in-one-printer-serie...

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
