Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Product: Deskjet 3630
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is it possible to scan multiple pages into one pdf on the HP deskjet 3630? The HP virtual assistant says it can be done, but the document feeder isn't recognising documents waiting to be scanned and when I select "scan", I get a scan of the glass. I've turned the printer and the router on and off, but it makes no difference.

HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer series

 

There is no Automatic Document Feeder on this model.

Scanning Options (ADF)Not Applicable

The printer supports manual 2-sided printing.

Scan using the HP Scan software (part of the full driver / Full Feature Software)

Scan using the "flatbed" (glass)

Scan to Save as a PDF file

The video shows how to "add page" at 2:56 (of 4:01)

What else?

In addition to the full driver, download and install HP Smart from the Microsoft Store.

HP Smart can scan a multiple page document - HP Smart (also) requires that you use the "Add Page" method.
