A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

Saving the scanned images as JPEG file format should save all the scanned images as separate files. Let's try these steps:

1.) Open HP Easy Scan. If you don't have HP Easy Scan installed on your Mac, then you may download it from here.

2.) Select your printer name from the Scanner drop down menu.

3.) Select a scan job type from the Presets menu, and then click Scan. Once the scan is complete, click "Scan Next Item" to scan the next photo.

4.) Click Send, and then click Folder.

Click Send to save a scan to a folder on the Mac

5.) Select JPEG in the Format menu.

6.) Click the Where menu, and then select a folder to save the scan to.

7.) Click Save.

Let me know how it goes!
