We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My C410 Photosmart Premium will not scan. When I select "Scan to computer" I get this Scan Problem message: "Try starting scan from computer. Refer to documentation for details". I have not found any troubleshooting details for this Scan Problem in the documentation.

I'd be happy to help you! 

 

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.

  • Have you tried to make a few copies directly from the printer to isolate the issue further?
  • How is the printer set up? Is it a wired or wireless connection?

 

For starters please try to make a few copies directly from the printer and check if it copies fine to eliminate any hardware issue with the printer.

If it copies fine, please perform these steps.

 

Please Restart Windows image acquisition services from this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Photosmart-Premium-Fax-e-All-in-One-Printer-series---C410/405...  Please perform steps 2,3 7 and 8 from the link.

Then check if it works fine. If it does not please uninstall the printer software by following these steps:

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.

If you do not find the drivers for your Windows 10, you may try the HP printer setup (Windows built-in driver)
