Product: HP LaserJet 3030 All-in-One Printer

My Laserjet 3020 has always scanned perfectly using Windows fax & scan, but no longer works after replacing my Win 10 computer with new HP Win 11 computer since Win 11 no longer has "fax & scan" app that Windows has had in previous versions. I need to scan occasionally.

W11 on older printers supports printing only, scanning is not supported.

Valsimot, your answer may be correct, but it seems quite presumptuous of Microsoft to arbitrarily abandon support for  a scanner function that was working properly and well in Win 10, less than a few days before I purchased a new Win 11 computer that will no longer scan. However, the printer/scanner worked perfectly only days before. Will they next require me to buy a new printer when the mood strikes? This seems quite unreasonable, as I expect that the only thing needed is a new or updated scan software.
