Hello @DianaBB,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Try this Solution:

  1. Install HP Scan Extended find here: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/
  2. Download this file: HPScanExt.msi
  3. Close all programs

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the msi.

OPTIONAL:

Add HP Scan Extended shortcut to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start
    • Open File Explorer > Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Scan Extended\bin
    • Right-Click on "HPScan.exe" > Select Pin to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Andreas

Hello Andr-1611

I sent a second message today while I was having trouble with the link. I just had to use http:/ before the link to make it work.  I saw that in another post. But I was able to scan multiple pages as one document and type a file name to save it. It took a minute to figure out how to add a page for the same document. But it worked.  Thank you.

Kind regards
