Hi @LH2024,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-In-One Printer is scanning documents crooked, there are a few potential reasons and solutions you can try.
- Check Document Alignment: Ensure that the documents you are scanning are properly aligned on the scanner glass or in the document feeder. Make sure they are placed straight and snug against the edges.
- Clean Scanner Glass: Dust, smudges, or other debris on the scanner glass can cause scanning issues. Clean the scanner glass with a soft, lint-free cloth. Make sure there are no obstructions or marks on the glass.
- Use the Document Feeder Correctly: If you are using the automatic document feeder (ADF), ensure that the paper guides are adjusted correctly to fit the size of the documents. Check for any jams or obstructions in the ADF.
- Calibrate Scanner: Some printers have a calibration option in their settings that can help align the scanning mechanism. Check your printer's user manual or settings menu for a calibration option.
- Update Firmware/Software: Make sure your printer's firmware and software are up-to-date. Sometimes, manufacturers release updates that can improve the performance and functionality of the printer.
- Check for Mechanical Issues: Inspect the scanner for any mechanical issues such as loose parts or anything that might be causing the misalignment.
- Adjust Settings in Scanning Software: If you are using scanning software on your computer, check the settings to ensure they are configured correctly. Look for options related to document alignment or skew correction.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
