On Monday my printer stopped recognizing my MacBook Pro when I attempted to scan. The HP Utility is also not able to connect to my printer HP OfficeJet Pro 7740  to trouble shoot, neither the HP Easy Scan.

 

I went to your website, and entered my operating system which is macOS Catalina version 10.15.7, to see if I need to update the  HP software, but when I tried to download it on Apple store it clearly says it's only for MacOS versions 11 and above. 

 

My MacBook Pro doesn't update to anything higher than MacOS Catalina version 10.15.7, so could you send me a download that actually works with my MacBook Pro please, like it used to work a week ago? This is really inconvenient and frustrating. 

Also I can't see this product on my HP account, and when I try to add it, your website is not functioning properly in order for me to add the serial number on there.

Hi sorry to say what you suggested is not helpful at all!

 

The link is the same as what I used before to fix the problem. I tried it again and my problem is still the same. What your website suggests for my operating system is an impossible task as I can’t download HPSmart app for below MacOS 11. Please read this part from my original post again;
