Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been using this printer/scanner/copier for almost a year with no issues. Suddenly the scanner is "Not connected". (yet I can print).  I re-installed all of the software for the printer, including the scanner software.   It still says it's not connected. Everything is connected!! Wifi is set up correctly... It simply won't see my computer any longer (except to print). I've restarted as well. It's a pretty simple set up. Not sure what's going on here.  Here is the error verbatim "Connection Required" with a triangle and an exclamation mark inside.  Then it suggests the following :   1-Make sure computer is on. 2- Make sure they're on the same network 3- Make sure the software is installed.  So yeah...not sure what else to do.  My laptop is also a HP so should be compatible Thank you!!!
