I downloaded Mac OS Catalina 10.15. My printer works but my scanner does not. It says it is 32 bit and needs to be updated by the developer. Anybody else have this issue or a fix. I checked the drivers and it was last updated in September which was before Catalina came out I believe. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

HP Scan or HP Easy Scan is not intended for Catalina, if you may use HP Scan it is an old - not intended for many versions prior to Catalina already.

 

Try scanning with Image Capture, this should allow you to scan:
