Today I bought a new printer/scanner (Envy 4500) and guess what scanner won't work. I installed everything – printer is working but scanner is not. It says “cannot find the product” I am so fed up with this company and I swear I will never used them again.

Hello,
I hope you have installed the printer software for Envy 4500 .
If yes, then
Double click on Printer icon on the desktop, then try click on scan.
Let me know if it works..

Was working fine, then I upgraded software, now doesn't work. Scanner error message: Launch file needed. Where do I obtain a launch file? I have original CD and downloaded drivers from HP Website.
I need my scanner, please help!
I can copy from glass, so that's working...

Hello,
May i know the OS on your PC ? ( Win 7/8/10 ) etc .
You have mentioned that you have dowloaded the driver , hence double click on the dowloaded file to begin the installatio.
If installation does not start, then there is a possibility that the downloaded s/w was for a different OS that you had on the computer. Hence you may download the printer software using the below url.
