I had to get a new computer. I installed my printer, but now it will not scan to the folder I want and it does not scan individual photos (when you put several on the bed) like it did before. I can't seem to find where I can change the scanning preferences.

Which application are you using to scan?
Use the HP Scan Extended app to scan and check if that helps.
Click here to download the app.
Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
If the above did not help, make sure full-feature printer driver is installed on the PC
Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Now, refer to this document to know how to scan and make changes to the settings.
