Product: HP Scanjet G4050 Photo Scanner
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

We recently bought an HP Envy 34-c1000 and I think neglected to transfer the device software from our older, but much loved HP Scanjet G4050. Is there anyway to just download the software and driver? I see the status on the HP site for the scanner is 'expired." We still have our tower from the old PC. What are the steps to transfer the G4050 software to the new computer?

That scanner is too old to be supported in W11 it is not possible to transfer old software from an old computer to a new computer.

Not sure that is true. We transferred many other files that were older and worked.  Will wait to hear from HP.
