Product: HP Laser Jet Pro
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I upgraded my internet speed and was sent a new cable modem. After replacing my old modem I am not able to “scan to computer” or e-mail. Wireless printing from Mac or iPhone works fine. This is and issue with my HP Deckjet and my new Hp LaserJet. Scan and e-mail worked perfectly before the modem change. Help!

There are a lot of variables that you have not provided information for. If your printers has WIFI direct printing and that was what your Apple products were using, that would not change with a modem. However, if you are also connecting the printer with a wired connection or wireless connection to the modem, then you would likely need to enter the new SSID and Wireless Passphrase for the modem into the printers. Once you are sure that you have settings matched up so that all devices can see each other, the scan to email should just work but you may have to run the setup for the scan to folder.

The problem is I had no problems scanning with my previous Spectrum modem it’s only when I swapped modems did the scan to computer/e-mail stop working. The issue has to be with the modem..
