Scanjet 5470c
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Attempting to move Scanjet 5470c from old Win XP PC to Win 7 Pro PC running XP Mode but don’t have original Installation disc. Tried running existing “installation” file from XP system and installation appears to run but scanner is not recognized on XP Mode of Win 7. Not sure driver files are correct or properly installed for the XP Mode running on the Win 7 PC. Since the virtual machine does not recognize the scanner, connecting it vis USB also fails. Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Your scanner is not supported on Windows 7, such a device will not likely work with compatibility mode as the scanner driver is not intended for Widnows7:

I am personally not aware of any possible workaround to use such a scanner on Windows 7.
