Hi @Doug281

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for sharing this with us. I understand that your printer is able to print but is not making copies. To guide you effectively, it would help to know the exact HP printer model you are using and the device or operating system it is connected to.

Have you already tried any troubleshooting steps, such as checking the printer’s control panel or using the HP App to verify the copy function?

In the meantime, here are some general steps that can sometimes help with copy issues:

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and not showing any error lights or messages.
  • Check that the scanner lid is fully closed and the glass is clean.
  • Try making a copy directly from the printer’s control panel rather than through the app.
  • Restart the printer by turning it off, waiting for about 30 seconds, and turning it back on.

Once you share the model details and any steps you’ve already tried, we can provide precise guidance to resolve this.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
