Not scanning margins

I often scan homework on engineering paper (with clearly defined borders/margins) and after this most recent HP app update, my printer seems to think that the borders are the edges of the pages, thus cutting off my margins & headers.  Any idea how to fix that?

I'd like to help!

Currently, there is no way to access the margin settings on the Apple iOS devices using HP Smart.

There is an option for re-sizing where you can 'fit to page' or crop a scan, you may refer to -HP printer setup (HP Smart app)
