Buogiorno,

                  ho acquistao la stampante  HP OfficeJet  6950  in sostituzione di una HP OfficeJet 6500 Plus ( a cui si bloccato il carrello porta testine)  .

      Tutto ok per l'installzione e collegamenti agli altri device (WiFi, PC  e Smarphone) ...... ma la stampante, pur non avendo cambiato nulla sulla linea telefonica (stesso gestore, stessa presa telefonica, stesso impianto stessi filtri ADSL),  non ne vuol sapere di inviare o ricevere Fax. 

 Facendo il test Fax , nel rapporto é scritto che tutti i test sono superati salvo "Test disturbi linea fax" 

dove scrive NON SUPERATO.  

   Ho provato a cambiare i filtri ADSL,  ho spostato la stampante in altra presa telefonica con filtro ADSL......niente da fare.

   La precedente stampante HP 6500 Plus  non ha alcun problema con i fax (spedisce e riceve) ...

  Domanda: qualcuno ha qualche suggerimento per risolvere il problema ?

  PS. Se si fa il numero  di telefono, allo squillo previsto ( il 5.°), subentra il fischio del fax, la memoria della stampante registra il nr. chiamante e annota "Non riuscito"

 I bought the HP OfficeJet 6950 printer in place of an HP OfficeJet 6500 Plus (the head carriage is locked).
      Everything is OK for the installation and connections to other devices (WiFi, PC and Smarphone) ...... but the printer, although not having changed anything on the telephone line (same operator, same telephone socket, same system, same filters ADSL ), does not want to send or receive faxes.
 When doing the Fax test, it is written in the report that all tests are passed except for "Fax line noise test"
where he writes "NOT PASSED"
   I tried to change the ADSL filters, I moved the printer to another telephone jack with an ADSL filter ... nothing to do.
   The previous HP 6500 Plus printer has no problem with faxes (send and receive) ...
  Question: does anyone have any suggestions to solve the problem?
  PS. If the telephone number is dialed, at the scheduled ring (the 5th), the whistling of the fax takes over, the printer memory registers the number. caller and note "Failed"  En Francais Nouvelle imprimante HP OfficeJet 6950

I understand that you are facing issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 6950 All-in-One Printer wherein you are unable to send or receive the fax over the DSL line.

 

This issue could occur if the fax setup for the ADSL line is not correct.

 

Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.

 

And here are a few steps listed below:

  1. Connect your ADSL microfilter to the telephone wall socket.

  2. Connect the fax cable supplied with your printer to the outlet labeled 1-LINE (or LINE) at the back (or on one side) of the printer.

  3. Insert the other end of the fax cable into the analog outlet on the ADSL microfilter.

  4. Connect the PC to the ADSL modem according to their respective manuals. The ADSL modem can be external or internal to the computer; if in doubt, check the specifications of your computer.

  5. Insert the ADSL cable into the ADSL outlet on the ADSL microfilter according to the guidelines of the ADSL manufacturer.
