HP Deskjet 3639
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone,
I recently bought an HP Deskjet 3639 and I would like to know if is it possible to use the device for OCR scanning.
I already searched for similar answer and the most recent appears the be this one: https://h30478.www3.hp.com/t5/Imprimantes-Composants-et-accessoires/OCR-sur-deskjet-3639/td-p/837159

Unfortunately, there are some passages unclear. Anyone could help me understand how to do it properly? Thank you so much.

Yes, you can use OCR Scanning

OCR is included in the Full Feature software and driver.

Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-deskjet-3630-all-in-one-printer-series...

For your reference from the link on your post,

Double click on the downloaded file to extract but NOT to install

Windows + R.
 %temp%

Enter
Search for the most recent file (starts with 7z)
Optional
IrisOCR.msi and install it

Keep me posted, how it goes!
