I have seen the problem posted, but no solution. With the latest update, I have lost the ability to scan to OCR in HP Scan.
The knowledge base says I must download the HP Univeral Scan software, but I cannot find it anywhere. I have already reinstalled all the drivers available for my printer, but the Scan and Capture, nor the HP Smart allows the choice of text.
Could someone please help me by sending the specific link that allows editable

- Let me know if the printer is connected to Windows Computer or MAC Computer or Android Phone or iPhone.

- Let me know the version of the operating system installed on the computer connected to the printer.
- Connection method - USB, physical LAN, or wireless?

My system could scan to email yesterday.  Today it gives an internal processing error alert

Mac OS 12.5.1. wifi connection 

the error says please retry or manually check the firmware update.  Rebooting and unplugging does nothing.  How do I check the firmware update?
