New printer, HPSmart seemed to install ok. Unable to register: invalid serial # and hostname. Likewise, I'm unable to add it to my dashboard for the same reasons: invalid serial # and hostname. Tho HP+ and Instant Ink are both active. Discovered the scanner (from the web interface) was not functioning. ScanDr fails: no HP imaging device installed. To resolve, attempted to install HP Scan, which fails: cannot find/connect to the printer. Webservices (scan to computer) is disabled. All the while, the printer is installed on the pc and properly printing.

 

Have un/reinstalled all associated sfw multiple times, Win11 has been updated to latest and greatest, printer has been factory reset, etc. I don't know what to try next - any thoughts?!?
