Product: HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

My OfficeJet 3830 printer will no longer scan and send documents to my MacBook Pro computer. The computer uses the Big Sur 11.4.6 OS. When I try scanning a document it says the connection to the computer has been lost, but the printer appears in the computer's printers and scanners setting. How do I re-establish the connection?

Hi, kindly check all the wires if you have connected it manually through wire. Yeah the scanner will be showing in the laptop but it will be offline. Recently my employee at traffic tour mod apk office was facing such issue. When I check so his cable which connect scanner with laptop was expired when we replaced that cable it start working finely. So kindly check the cable. And if you are using it on wifi network so make sure that the scanner is correctly connected to the wifi network.
