I get this nearly every time I try to scan to emailI get this nearly every time I try to scan to emailI get the attached notice nearly every time I try to scan to email.  I have troubleshot the wireless connection and there isn't a single thing wrong with it.  I have tried resetting to factory settings and that didn't work.  I have tried updating printer maintenance and that didn't work.  I have had the product for 3 days.  It is worthless to me unless this issue gets resolved

Follow the steps below-

 

Assign manual IP to the printer-

The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.

For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers.

 

If you still have issues, we may have to reset the printer. The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
