Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the HP Smart App installed and it sees my printer.  I can also print just fine.  The problem is I can't scan.  The SmartApp AND Windows built in Scan app don't see the printer as a scanner and basically act as if it isn't installed.  I see no option to rectify this in the HP SmartApp.  See photos.HP scan.JPGHP status 2.JPGHP status.JPG

I solved this myself.  I uninstalled the HP SmartApp and removed the printer.  I then reinstalled the app and walked through the wizard and it magically works again.

 

So, the fix is to just reinstall the SmartApp.
