Every time I try to print something on cardstock, I get a paper jam.  I am using 110g weight paper, I change the paper type, etc. I've tried printing with a stack of cardstock, a few cardstock, or just one piece, and it gets jammed every single time. It is maddening how much paper I've wasted, and I cannot print the assignments my children need to complete because of this error. I've restarted the printer, too. I've tried not changing the paper type. Anything I can think of. All the same result. It is getting stuck right in the front, most typically, where the lid opens to expose the cartridges. Please help!

@jenwingler23, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Load card stock in Tray 1 only. Card stock is not compatible for use with the ADF for single- or double-sided printing.

It could be an issue with the rollers or the paper loading mechanism on the printer. Refer to the document HP Printers - Print Settings Guide (Mac) for help with settings.

If you have already performed the steps from the document  Paper Jam Error and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
