OfficeJet R65 not recognised by Win10 as a scanner

Hi

My OfficeJet R65 is connected to an add-in PCI-E parallel card by the original HP parallel cable that came with the printer.

It prints fine using the Windows Update driver for the R65 but Win10 doesnt recognise the device as a scanner.

Is there an HP driver that does get the scanner to work or is there another way round this ?

I understand that the OfficeJet R65 not recognized by Win10 as a scanner.

This printer model is obsolete and support is limited.

I would suggets you conatct our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

The HP printer support site doesnt recognise the product "OfficeJet R65" or the serial number "SGD98E19ZH". So no contact details listed for UK.
