I have been using this printer for over a year with no problems until now. It's possible it's a windows update error. When I scan to the computer and try to save the file, it says that file xyz.pdf was not found. Of course now it's a new file to save! I have reinstalled the software 3 times, I've tried using a short usb cable and by wifi same thing happens. But when I hook it to my windows 7 computer, no issues. I have a scan to computer error message on my computer. I run the scan-print doctor to fix it, it finds no errors. Suggestions other than buy a new printer? Thanks

@Jammerjonn, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Have you tried scanning from the computer using the HP Smart app and check if that works?

Refer to - How to scan with an HP printer

This looks like an issue with the Win 10 PC.

Let me know how it goes.
