Product: office jet 8620
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am able to print to the printer fine. I am able to start a scan at the mac and it works fine. When i try to start a scan from the s8620 it does not see the Mac book.  I have read that the hp util the scanner metions went away in 2020. This  is supposly happening after the ower of this printer I am helping moved and connected the printer to a new router/modem provided from his ISP. He claims  3 months ago at his old house it would scan to the mac from the scanner. It will scan to a PC fine.  Is anyone  have any idea  if after they changed the Mac OS in 2020  if its possible to start the scan from the 8620  and scan to the Mac
