We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Officejet Enterprise Color Flow X585
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

After following 'line by line'  instructions in the Users Manual to set-up

"Scan to Email",  a message appears that the attempt has failed.

Hopefully there is someone in the Forum with actual experience

with this "Page Wide" printer. I have set-up this function on two other printers (Officejet Pro

8620 and OJ Pro 8720), but this one has me stumped!

This model uses their enterprise level email system. Our most common situation we see for failure is either incorrect or missing DNS settings on the network page. Second common issue is customers using Office365 as the mail server without properly setting up the account.

Hi Repairatrooper,

The video has been viewed several times. It seems as if everything has been done as it

should. The set-up almost  works.. When the Test Email is sent, there is a pause, then the screen 'blinks'

and then another pause. This goes on for three cycles and then says that it failed.

Any suggestions?
