Hi,
I've recently installed on Officejet Pro 7740 Wide Format Printer onto a home network.
No problems printing, however when I attempt to initiate a scan from the printer to the PC no PC is recognised on the network. When I access the Print, Scan & Fax settings using the HP Printer Assistant, (pic below)
I cannot select the Manage Scan to Computer selection. I click on it an nothing happens.
When I attempt to initiate a scan from the PC to the printer, I have no problem.
Can anyone help?

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
Please Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:
1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
The following resource will help you :
http://123.hp.com/us/en/
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
If you are not sure how to do this, the following resource will walk you through the steps:
How to Uninstall Download & Reinstall a Printer software
How to Scan to Computer
Once you have installed the software:
1. Click on the printer Icon (on your desktop) and it will bring up the HP Printer Assistant.
2. Under the Scan menu, there is a “Manage Scan to Computer”, click on that.
3. Make sure that you “Enable” Scan to Computer. Also make sure the tab “Automatically start Scan to Computer when I log on to Windows” is checked if you want to make this feature permanent. (the following video will show you how)
Scan to Computer (New UI)
How to use "Scan to Computer" properly
Hope that helps.

I had the same issue with the manage scan to computer doing nothing. It seems to be some sort of bug with wireless & Windows 10 (maybe even 8). I ended up hardwiring our printer (ethernet) and it now allows me to click "Manage Scan to Computer."
