macOS 10.14 Mojave

Recently updated iOS system to Mojave, but according to HP Knowledge base, my printer is compatable with Mojave.

Getting error message "There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on again, if problem persists, contact HP". I did as instructed w/o success. Tried making sure each ink cartridge was set correctly by removing & reinstalling -> no success. Tried wiping off contacts -> no success. I can not even get back to the home screen to try updating firmware or cleaning print head. Was trying to follow suggestions from following HP page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/model/4322914/document/c03253201

Printer: HP Officejet Pro 8600 all in one

Computer: Macbook running Mojave

Assistance would be greatly appreciated ASAP as I have documents that I need to print ASAP.

Since you tried all possible steps available in this document, I'm afraid, its a possible hardware failure. Please call HP Support to obtain all available repair/replacement options. You may use the following steps to contact your regional HP Support:

1) Click on this link.

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device. 

4) Select the country from the drop-down. 

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
