Have an HPOfficejet Pro 8610 and it will not scan, copy or receive faxes.  Have tried every trick in the book

and nothing works.  Error message on screen:  Scanner cannot be established.

The problem with your message is that the HP phone number just refers you to the internet.  Nobody at HP is interested in their customers anymore.

1> Type in you Printer model# / Description eg. Officejet pro 8610.

2> Complete the form to select your contact options.

 

Or,

 

Call 1-800-474-6836,  after you hear the message to refer online, wait for about 20 seconds dont disconnect the call and then you'd would be connected to Support options over phone.
