Officejet pro 6960 fax

I have the officejet pro 6960 all in one. It's Bluetooth and WiFi capable. Is there a way I can set this up to fax using one of those options or with my smartphone? In my preferences there was am option that said HP digital fax but when I press it, it refers me here and says to search my model number. I can't find anything that answers my question.

Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others.

You need to setup the Fax on your printer by connecting the telephone cable to the printer. This is the only way you can setup the fax on your printer.

But, you can receive the fax to your computer or to your email using the “Digital fax setup” once the telephone cable is connected to your printer and if your printer is ready to send / receive fax.
 

Follow the steps mentioned below to setup the Digital fax on your PC:

• First, install the printer software on your computer if not already installed. Click on http://hp.care/2htO2hW and download the driver to install the printer software.
• Make sure the telephone cable is selected to the printer and the printer is ready to send / receive faxes. You can check the instructions here: http://hp.care/2h0a6hj
• Now on the computer screen, double-click on the printer icon to get the “HP Printer assistant window”.
• Select the “Fax” and then select “Digital fax setup”.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the digital fax setup.
• Once done, you will be able to receive faxes to your computer / email depending on the setup.
