Product: Scanjet 200

Hi, the Scanjet 200 has been my perfect companion for ages - it works perfectly.  In fact we have two units!

Lately I upgraded the software to 2.1.0.6437 and while all continues to work including the buttons programmed with the original bundled software.

However I cannot now access the control panel interface to change, for example, the OCR language. 

I get "HP Imaging Device was not found" which of course is wrong since it will scan from the device itself.

 

It is kind of a major headache.

 

Any ideas please?
