Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP OfficeJet 4652 All-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On Windows 10, my HP OfficeJet 4652 All-in-one is not recognized as a fax and scanner.  I used the "add a device" function in printers and devices that automatically searched for and configured the device.   It was recognized as a fax, scanner, and printer on Window 7 home version.

You have not installed the full-featured printer driver on the PC. Adding a device uses windows built-in driver for printing only.

 

Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

Double-click on the printer icon on the desktop to open the HP Printer Assistant application.
