Before I purchased the seller told me this would:   Scan to my laptop.  I.e. I insert a picture under the Scan cover, Hit an icon on my laptop and the picture is scanned to a file on my laptop.

There after I could send that picture to whomever I choose.

 

Help.  1. How to I get the icon on my laptop to do this.  2. does this printer or does it not scan to my laptop.

I can scan FROM my laptop--thats easy.  I had a Kodak printer that died recently that allowed me to accomplish that scan to computer functions.
