Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

I have an HP 8600, and when I scan something it does not offer a PDF to scan to, it only has JPG, PNG, & Tif.

is there something I am suppose to do, or should it be offered as a drop down choice?

I have several documents I need to upload and it will not accept it, I scanned as JPG

Using windows 8 on dell inspiron

By default it will scan Documents as PDF files and Photos as JPG or other image formats files. Please selecg document before hit scan.
