PageWide Pro 477dw

When scanning documents using the document feeder on the PageWide Pro 477dw multifunction printer, the scans come out crooked.  Scans using th glass top come out fine, though.  No issues with printing or making copies either.  The documents being scanned are for business purposes and we cannot send them to clients crooked.  I have tried to clean the rollers several times but it has only slightly improved.  What else can I do to resolve this?

Hi there,

In addition to installing the correct software, you should also double check a few things.

Is the printer on a stable and flat surface? Are all of the doors closed completely?

If these are both true, you should check the health and life of the roller in the document feeder. If it is old or worn, this may explain why the documents are being fed crooked.

Hope this helps!

You may want to try HP JetAdvantage Capture (free donwload) from Windows store, no driver needed.  If the result is the same, then you probably need to replace your roller.
