Hello! Glad to connect.
When pressing the color photocopy button or black&white photocopy button the page comes out blank, it does not print the photocopy of the document placed on the glass scanner, and the HP Smart app says Paper Size Mismatch.
But when commanded photocopy again for the second time it prints in bigger size and dislocated print (not where it should be printing, different location on paper)

Hi @surendrabedsa,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Based on your description, your HP Ink Tank Wireless 416 printer is experiencing a copying issue where:
- The first copy comes out blank.
- The second copy is misaligned and oversized.
- The HP Smart app shows a “Paper Size Mismatch” error.
Let’s walk through a few steps to fix this:
1. Check Scanner Glass and Document Placement
- Make sure the document is placed face down on the scanner glass.
- Align it with the top-left corner as marked.
- Clean the glass to remove any smudges or dust.
2. Set Correct Paper Size
- On the printer control panel or HP Smart app:
- Go to Settings → Preferences → Paper Size
- Set it to A4 or Letter, depending on your paper.
- Also, check Copy Settings and ensure Fit to Page is selected.
3. Update Firmware
- Go to HP Ink Tank Wireless 410 series Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
- Download and install the latest firmware and HP Smart app.
4. Reset Copy Settings
- On the printer:
- Press and hold the Copy button until the lights blink.
- These resets copy settings to the default.
5. Try Copying from the HP Smart App
- Open the app → Tap Copy → Use Scanner Glass option.
- This bypasses hardware copy buttons and may avoid the mismatch.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
