Hi Community,

Why does the scanningfeeder not feed the document properly when I put it there according to instructions? I start the scanning from HP Smart-app and then  the document starts feeding with hesitation and only like 75-85 % of the actual page/text will be readable . The rest is just a grey field.

 

First time I use this scanningfunction.

Hi,

Let's try calibrating the scanner:

Load and empty page to the tray and then calibrate the scanner from the software, as you use the HP Smart app and not the full feature software you would need to select Printer Settings and within the Print Quality toolbox section you should see the Calibrate scanner option.

 

If not, click on Advanced Settings and select the Tools tab, there too you should see the option available too.

 

Please calibrate it and check if you may see any difference then.
