Possible to do duplex copy from ADF?

I want to copy multiple two sided sheets to  two sided sheets, but when I load the ADF and and enter two sided in the settings, it does not copy the second side, but pulls the next sheet through and copies it  instead.  If only one sheet is put in the ADF and asked for two sided. it simply prints a blank page on the second side....HELP.

I often have double sided documents to copy and I want to use the ADF!  I'm fed up jumpimg up ad down and wasting time.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are unable to do two-sided copying.

Update the printer firmware

Refer this HP document for the steps to update the printer firmware:- Click here

Follow the below steps to do two-sided copying.

1. Load your original print-side down on the scanner glass.

2. On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch Copy .

3. Specify the desired number of copies. Do either of the following to specify the number:

● Select a number in the spinner. You can swipe left or right in the spinner to increase or decrease the number.

● Touch the keypad button on the right side of the spinner to enter a specific number.

4. Touch (Settings) to specify paper size, paper type, quality, or other settings.

● To copy two pages of the original to 2 sides of a sheet, touch the toggle button next to 2–Sided to set it to ON.

● Touch (Back) to return to the Copy menu.

5. Touch Start Black or Start Color to start the copy job.

Thanks, but I already do that for single sheets....my question was about using the ADF (Automatic Document Feedeer) to so multiple different pges, double sided.  i.e. loading the adf with 10  double sided sheets and gettig the double sided copies.

This seems to be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
