Printer 4675, scanner scans only upper part of page

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4675 All-in-One Printer is scanning only the upper part of the page, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
 

Check Paper Alignment:

  • Ensure the document is correctly aligned on the scanner glass. The paper should be positioned according to the markers on the scanner bed.

Adjust Scan Settings:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer, and go to the scanning settings. Ensure that the page size and scan area settings match the document size you're scanning (e.g., A4 or Letter).

Update or Reinstall Drivers:

  • Outdated or corrupted drivers can sometimes cause scanning issues. Go to HP’s website and download the latest drivers for your printer model. You can also uninstall the current driver, restart your computer, and reinstall it.

Try Scanning with a Different Application:

  • Use a different scanning program (e.g., Windows Scan app or Paint). This can help rule out any software-related issues in HP Smart.

Reset the Printer:

  • Power off the printer and unplug it from the wall. Wait about 60 seconds before plugging it back in and powering it on. This can help resolve minor glitches.
