Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Hi 


I have recently purchased a HP Envy 6430e and have set the HP smart app on my phone. The printing portion works; however, I have tried to scan to my phone and the start button is greyed out and I can select anything on the screen when I click on the tile (picture as example) ... The scan function from the printer to the computer works fine.  Is there something I am missing? When I have watched YouTube tutorials their screen does not look like this.

Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App and try again.
