Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

When I try tp send a fax on my HP OfficeJetPro 8710 printer, I hit the black and white option to send it to the phone number I entered on the keyboard. After I've done this, all i can hear is a "Beep Beep, Beep" sound instead of the typical fax dialing sound. After about 10 seconds, it prints out a fax log  that states in the result "No answer". This happens to any fax number I try sending it to. Does anybody have any answers?

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to send fax, I am glad to assist you.

Turn on Error Correction Mode: If Error Correction Mode is off, turn it on to increase the chance of successful transmission. The fax might take longer to complete.

Reset the printer

  • Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures.
  • If your printer has a rechargeable battery, remove it.
  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
  • NOTE: HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
  • Turn on the printer to complete the reset.
