Product: Officejet6600
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Error message:

 

“the print cartridge cannot move.

Open the ink cartridge access door, clear any paper jam or obstruction, and select OK.”

 

There is no paper obstruction. I have turned it off, unplugged it, restarted, and tried cleaning it.

 

any other suggestions?

If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
