I changed out the color cartridges and now it doesn't print or copy in color. It only prints and copies in black and white. I can not fiqure out why.

I understand that you are having trouble while printing in color using your Officejet printer. Do not worry, I found a wonderful document to help you fix the issue.
Follow the steps listed here: HP OfficeJet 6900 Printers - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues
Make sure to try all the steps, but start with Step 4 & 5.
