Just recently bought a Officjet Pro 6968
When scanning from the front control panel on printer, it will not scan from top feeder. The window says "Document Loaded" but it scans from the glass only. I know the feeder works because it feeds paper through when copying.
I also used Hp doctor to see if it fixed the problem but it didn't and when I use the shortcut on my desktop and try to scan from the computer it says it can not connect to my pc. All drivers are up to date.
But when I scan from the glass it shows up on my computer....
Also the Scanner is Enabled on my computer....
Any help would be great.

Hi,
What happens when you open your HP Printer software, select Scan and then clicking on Scan a document or Photo? can you scan from the ADF using this method?
Is the printer connected via USB or wirelessly?
When you press on Manage Scan to Computer (assuming it is connected over the network) can you see the feature enabled?
Be sure to select the EXACT same computer name as listed under Manage Scan to Computer, without any added work prior or after and check. may you see any difference?
Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.
If my post resolve your problem please mark it as an Accepted Solution 🙂
