Hello, I have a LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdw.  It worked fine scanning to Adobe Acrobat XI using both the flatbed and the feeder when both were installed on a Windows 10 machine.  I recently installed the printer on a new Windows 11 computer and also installed Adobe Acrobat 2020 Standard on the same machine.  I can scan individual pages to Acrobat 2020 using the flatbed.  However, when I attempt to scan using the feeder, the scanner will feed all pages through the feeder, but only the first page is processed and displayed in Acrobat  as a PDF.  The feeder will work (feeding and processing) for all  pages when scanning to HPs rudimentary scanning software in HP Smart, but the alignment and image quality of the scans are poor compared to Adobe's.

 

I contacted Adobe for support via chat.  The  representative had me also attempt to scan to Paint, and I got the same result as with Acrobat 2020.  The representative declared it to be an HP software problem, not an Adobe problem.  I don't know about that, but I would appreciate any assistance that anyone could offer.

I see that you have issues while scanning from the Adobe app. HP does not provide support for third-party apps. As it is working fine from the HP Smart app, it means the issue is not with the printer.

Check for pending Windows updates and updates for the Adobe app or reinstall it.

 

Now, if you are not satisfied with the scan quality using the HP Smart app, you may download the full feature printer driver from here

Select your printer model and download the driver.
