Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP Officejet Pro 8620
macOS 10.15 Catalina

The HP Virtual Agent does not offer adequate support for mac OS users.

After installing the most recent version of mac OS [Catalina, version 10.15], I can no longer scan anything.

Is there a special forum for HP users who use macs?

If not, I will not buy another HP product, though up to now the printer has served me well.

Please assist!

There is not a special Mac Forum - and I am sorry that this increases frustration.

It is true -

At the moment, Catalina is not fully compatible with HP Easy Scan.

Please, for now, use Apple Image Capture as the workaround:

Looks like Image Capture does (also) support scanning documents - details are included in Step #5.

HP is aware of the issue and will release a fix when it is available.

You are welcome.

Check your printer website support homepage on occasion - when there is word from HP on the subject, there will likely be a notice in the upper right on the web page.
